Automatic system for sampling pressurized gases and LPG

TE Instruments' GLS module is an advanced automatic sampling system designed for the controlled transfer of pressurized gases and liquefied gases (LPG) from the cylinder to the analyzer.

Equipped with a standalone touchscreen interface, it integrates seamlessly with XPLORER series analyzers.

Key Features

  • Dual loop configuration: the system integrates a 10 mL loop for gaseous samples and a 100 µL loop for LPG. Visual inspection through an illuminated slide ensures the stability of the liquid phase before sampling
  • Controlled vaporization: The LPG sample is converted to the gaseous phase through controlled "flash" expansion, ensuring a homogeneous and representative introduction into the combustion system
  • Safety protocols
    • Mechanical interlock: safety system prevents cylinder disconnection if the line is pressurized or the valve is open
    • Environmental monitoring: integrated hydrocarbon leak sensor with automatic flow shutoff and user interface alarms
  • Advanced calibration: allows the generation of multi-point calibration curves from a single CRM standard, automating up to 100 sequential loop injections
  • Performance: designed for ultra-trace analysis with ppb-level limits of detection (LOD) and automatic purge systems to eliminate carryover.
