TE Instruments' GLS module is an advanced automatic sampling system designed for the controlled transfer of pressurized gases and liquefied gases (LPG) from the cylinder to the analyzer.
Equipped with a standalone touchscreen interface, it integrates seamlessly with XPLORER series analyzers.
Key Features
-
Dual loop configuration: the system integrates a 10 mL loop for gaseous samples and a 100 µL loop for LPG. Visual inspection through an illuminated slide ensures the stability of the liquid phase before sampling
- Controlled vaporization: The LPG sample is converted to the gaseous phase through controlled "flash" expansion, ensuring a homogeneous and representative introduction into the combustion system
- Safety protocols
- Mechanical interlock: safety system prevents cylinder disconnection if the line is pressurized or the valve is open
- Environmental monitoring: integrated hydrocarbon leak sensor with automatic flow shutoff and user interface alarms
- Advanced calibration: allows the generation of multi-point calibration curves from a single CRM standard, automating up to 100 sequential loop injections
- Performance: designed for ultra-trace analysis with ppb-level limits of detection (LOD) and automatic purge systems to eliminate carryover.
