EST analytical's FLEX 2 robotic sampling platform is a multifunction X,Y,Z autosampler for GC and GC/MS, designed for sample preparation and introduction: liquid injection, headspace and SPME.
The FLEX 2 autosampler delivers results laboratories can count on. In particular, the Prep Ahead function allows samples to be prepared in advance while GC analysis is in progress, improving productivity and system utilization.

MTX - Multi Tool Exchange: The MTX device automates the change of extraction/injection technique within the same sample sequence; this allows switching from liquid injection to headspace or SPME, without the need to stop the sequence and without operator supervision.
The syringe change option enables and simplifies the automation of internal standard addition and dilution, optimizes productivity, increases accuracy and improves process safety.
The MTX device automates both the transition from liquid injection, headspace and SPME applications, as well as sample introduction into the GC.

- MFX - Multi Fiber Exchange: The MFX option extends the potential of SPME automation by allowing automatic fiber exchange within a sequence. The MFX device retains all the available options of the standard SPME, adding the ability to use multiple fibers within the same analytical sequence and/or on the same sample, without the intervention or supervision of an operator.
The fibers are housed in a special tray that preserves their efficiency, avoiding diffusion phenomena from and towards the fibers themselves and, consequently, loss of adsorbed analytes and contamination of the sample.
Each position of the fiber tray is equipped with a needle closing system: this feature expands the SPME application also to off-line sampling.
It is possible to install multiple modules of 6 positions, reaching up to the automation of the change of 24 fibers on the same sampler.
