Coupling thermogravimetric analyzer with MicroGC/MS instrument

The SOLIA TGA-MicroGC/MS interface is the SRA solution that combines thermogravimetry with micro-gas chromatography and mass spectrometry (TGA-MicroGC/MS).
SOLIA is a very fast MicroGC gas analyzer that uses gas chromatography to separate compounds from a gas mixture in less than 3 minutes.
It is a modular solution with up to 4 complementary analytical units. Each module is a complete chromatograph with: microinjector, capillary column and µTCD detector capable of analyzing different compounds in a non-destructive way.
The configuration includes heated membrane filter that protects the analytical module injector from heavy compounds and residues. The µTCD of each MicroGC module can be coupled to an Agilent quadrupolar mass spectrometer which makes possible an easy identification of each separated compound. The identification is simply made using mass spectrum comparison with the NIST database. The TGA/MicroGC coupling is the perfect solution for fast qualitative and quantitative analysis of evolved gas from a polymer or solid sample.

Technical features:

MicroGC/MS couplig
Valve for automatic selection, before or during the sequence, of the MicroGC module combined with the MSD detector
MicroGC configurable up to a maximum of 4 modules
Analysis time less than 3 minutes
Heated interface with valve programmable by software.

SRA SOPRANE management software:
Developed by SRA, SOPRANE performs the complete management of an analysis, from sampling to transmission of results.
A powerful graphical environment offers efficiency and ease of use. With SOPRANE it is possible to define a method and an analysis sequence, to follow the trends of specific compounds during a TGA analysis.
