The Wasson-ECE Eclipse analyzer was designed to achieve the same chromatographic results with an online PGC as with a laboratory capillary column GC.
To achieve this goal and overcome the limitations of traditional PGCs, high-performance convection ovens were combined with electronic pressure and flow controls.
The analyzers are fully customizable to meet the needs of the most demanding processes.
The system is equipped with:
- Two fully programmable microconvection ovens (MCO) that allow precise temperature control as required for capillary column chromatography
- Two isothermal ovens, each with a separate temperature assignment. Eclipse ovens can accommodate up to 8 columns (capillary or packed)
- Electronic pressure programming that precisely regulates pressures and flows.
Key oven features:
- MCO microconvection oven: Eclipse MCO capillary column ovens provide temperatures up to 225°C
- Cool Oven: Eclipse Cool Ovens for capillary columns use Peltier cooling to reach -20°C
- Isothermal Oven: Isothermal ovens provide temperatures up to 150°C and can be used as needed in various configurations and locations for maximum flexibility.
Eclipse Technology:
- MSD, VUV, PDHID, TCD, and onlineFID
- Capacity for up to 8 capillary columns
- Full electronic pressure programming
- Two programmable microconvection ovens
- Two isothermal ovens 19" local touchscreen interface
- MODBUS RTU, TCP, and REST automation
- Wasson-ECE's new chromatographic data system
- Multiplexing sampling systems for up to 16 sample streams
- Class I, Division 2, and ATEX Zone 2 for hazardous areas.
