Convoy System: Portable thermal desorber


The SRA Convoy system has been designed for sampling, enrichment and on-line VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) thermal desorbing.

The system allows to:

  • Determine concentrations of few ppb for each single component, in a continuous automatic cycle
  • Increase the detection limit up to several orders of magnitude, according to the substance and the sampling time
  • Avoid the injection of undesirable compounds such as water present in environmental samples, in the Micro GC module.

Sorbent trap: different absorbent materials are available (examples: TenaxTA®, Tenax /Charcoal)

Cycle length: typically 6 minutes for the complete cycle: (thermal desorption  at 200°C) sampling, thermal desorption, injection, cleaning, analysis and cooling
Electrical connection: TTL and relay for communication with the Micro GC
